Leaked 'Transformers 3' Script Is a Fake

On Saturday, December 12th, the Allspark posted a 'leaked' Transformers 3 script. Unfortunately, it has been ruled out and declared a hoax. According to 'Nelson' from the Shoot for the Edit website, he has confirmed that it is indeed a hoax.
Nelson said the following - "Their is a script out there being reported on TF sites as being legit. It's fake. Amazing that someone would take so much time to write so much for nothing. "
In general, the script was an attempt to take Michael Bay's Transformer Universe which has already been established by the first two films and take a new route, reverting the theme back to a completely G1 styled movie. There are many errors, espcially in grammar and punctuation throughout the entire script, which isn't uncommon, but still unprofessional. Like I have said before, it is really just a fan boy's dream for the next film. There are so many literal re-incarnations of famous scenes and moments from the G1 series. And for those of you who don't know, Bay doesn't like to make homages. He likes to be original with his work. Some of the ideas are very plausible, but just would never tie in to what Bay has already established. I personally, thought it was a great read, especially for G1 fans, with an excellent climax at the end with a great cliffhanger. Whoever has created it, obviously put a LOT of time and thought into it and I thank you personally for a fun read.

New Transformers Game - The War for Cybertron
In other Transformer news, we have a new game being released entitled 'Transformers: The War for Cybertron' under Activision. The game is to be released sometime next year (2010). The game does not follow any movie or generation. Judging by the concept art released and the game trailer, the game design looks very much like the 'War Within' comic series. The game is a third-person shooter, with a 'Gears of War' style to it. There have been reports that both factions, Autobots and Decepticons, will be playable. Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC versions are said to be in the works.
Megan Fox to be killed off in TF3? Nope
Last month, it was rumored by the site Gossipcop, that Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox), would be killed off in the beginning of Transformers 3 due to her rude comments towards Michael Bay. Bay though, has stomped out this rumor during his interview with USA Today.

Bay has said -
"I love her. It’s just, she’s young. Everyone’s got to give her a break, she only…23? It’s just hard. I’ve traveled around the world with her and she’s just like this world symbol now, you know?”
“She called me (after the Hitler comment) and goes, ‘It’s all bullsh—t, Mike.’ The press, they just like to prey, and stalk, and pounce and find a good little juicy thing. But she’s always wanted to do these crazy comments. That’s just her. She’s great.”
“She’s got a great part in Transformers 3"
[Regarding her death] - “No, no. no. She gets enough of that already.”
* Personally, I'm glad to see that Bay was so understandable towards Fox. After all, she is bringing Bay in a LOT of viewers to the theaters and making him a lot of money. *

Transformers 3 Gets an Official Date
According to Michael Bay's own website, Shoot for the Edit, Transformers 3 will be released on July 1st, 2011. It has been previously debated and rumored that the movie would be released in 2012 but this is NOT true. Pre-production has already started according to the site as well. Bay already had a meeting with Hasbro in Rhode Island along with new writer Ehren Kruger to discuss new characters. Bay also had a meeting with ILM in San Francisco in early October. To check out exactly what Bay posted, again you can check out his site.

No Dinobots for Future 'Transformers' Installments
Sadly, Michael Bay, in a recent interview with EMPIRE MAGAZINE, has made clear his lack of inclusion of them in any film and his dislike for them. Bay says, "They've never been discussed [for inclusion]. I don't like them. Actually, I hate them." This is very sad news, for G1 fans and the general audience alike for they were such loveable and awesome characters to the Transformers Universe.

Revenge of the Fallen, first to make $300 million in 2009
The critics hate it. The fans clearly love it and have spoken for themselves according to the movie's grossing statistics. Two weeks after the movie's opening, it has become the first movie of 2009 to make a $300 million domestic gross. Revenge's worldwide total is now at $622 million and is closing fast on the $700 million that the first film made back in 2007. Revenge has also made back it's $200 million budget three times over as well.

Ramon Rodriguez Talks To LA Times, More TF3 Confirmations
Paramount and Dreamworks have already announced that they will be making a Transformers 3 to be released on July 1st, 2011 or 2012. Michael Bay has not officially confirmed that he will be working on the next film (but this would be very surprising). But Bay did say he needed a bit of a "rest".

According to an article with the LA Times and Ramon Rodriguez (Leo Spitz), the "current" plans for the movie include his character. Rodriguez stated that Michael Bay hinted to him that the third film will have his character playing a much "meatier" role.
The full article can be found here.

Official Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Movie Review and Statistics
The hit summer blockbuster of 2009, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, has already brought in $387.3 million worldwide in just only five days. The US brought in $201.2 million, just short of the Dark Knights $203.8 million. The first film, in total made $708.3 million. Revenge has already made 54.7% of that in just five days. Despite the harsh reviews from the critics, Revenge is certainly holding it's own. The fans have spoken. Check out my video review for Transformers Revenge of the Fallen here -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d--ULSuK1aY

And now, here's my official written review of the movie, which will go into much more detail.
Transformers Revenge of the Fallen takes place two years after the events of the first film. We learn from a brief narration by Optimus that the the Autobots have joined with a strike team known as NEST which is led by Major Lennox (Josh Duhamel)and Sergeant Epps (Tyrese Gibson). The group's primary objective is to elimate Decepticons in hiding throughout the globe. This ultimately leads to the opening action sequence in Shanghai.
Sam Witwicky (Shia Labeouf) is trying to lead a normal life and go off to college. Unfortunately he has to leave behind his girlfriend, Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox) and his guardian, Bumblebee. His so called 'normal' college life is short lived however. After coming into contact with a remaining AllSpark fragment he still had after its destruction from the first movie, he begins to see Cybertronian symbols. He begins to see these symbols during his very first day of college and completely embarasses himself and seems to be going nuts. But thse symbols are quite important..Megatron, leader of the Decepticons, who was killed in the first film, has been brought back to life. We learn that Megatron is under orders from an even higher ranking Decepticon known as no other than, The Fallen. He is the original Decepticon and needs the last of the 'Prime's' (AKA Optimus Prime) to be elimated before he makes his debut on earth. Once this is accomplished he and the other Decepticons can go after an ancient artifact that destroys suns to create energy for the Decepticons to use known as 'energon'. But they need the symbols Sam is seeing to lead them to the artifact. Confusing right?
Once you get past the overall plot of the movie, Revenge of the Fallen delivers. Michael Bay recieved an astronomical amount of money for Revenge of the Fallen, hence the incredible visual effects, record breaking explosions, and even more robots on screen, bigger and badder than ever.
The action and suspense in Revenge of the Fallen can't even compare to it's 2007 predecessor. There are about 5 times as many robots on screen, pounding each other's faces in, ripping each other's limbs off, shooting missles, shooting lasers, whizzing down streets, pyramids being smahsed..all the good stuff. Michael bay really knows how to make good action sequences and tie in top job special effects and Revenge of the Fallen shows every bit of that. Many critics complain that the action/fight scenes were way too fast and the camera was all over the place. Yes, the action and fighting is very fast but not to a point where it is unclear who is fighting and where all you see is "robotic blurs".
The comedy in Revenge of the Fallen is more outrageous than the first film (in a good way, for the most part). Almost every single critic trashed the characters of Mudflap and Skids, the two Autobot twins. They have been labeled as "racial stereotypes". Michael Bay created the characters "for the kids" because they are "more accessible to them". I agree with this statement. Their "I'm gunna bust a cap in your ass" humor appeals to the younger viewing audience. It's purely goofy comic relief. If you can't handle goofy, "wannabe ganster" robots, you need to get your head checked. They were like the two, very brave, "little engines that could" with comical behaviors. As for the other bits of comedy, Shia Laebouf and his giddy personality as Sam Witwicky brought a lot of charisma to the screen. John Tuturro who plays agent Simmons was back with his sarcastic, nutty, and comedic attitude as well. The other two notable characters were Jetfire and Wheelie. Jetfire was a more 'appropriate' character as far as comedy goes while Wheelie appealed to the younger audience with his perverted behavior (don't be surprised to see him humping Megan Fox's leg).
As for the human stars of this movie Shia Laebouf is proving to everyone that he is the next rising young movie star. He was full of great charisma as I have said before and really played his role well.
Megan Fox returned as Mikaela Banes, Sam's girlfriend, and she was smoking in this movie (erm looks that is). Besides Fox's incredible beauty she really didn't deliver much. She seemed to be bored throughout the entire film and just could not muster up any emotions at all.
Good news for this movie, the robots got a lot more speaking roles including Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream (with a very weasel-like G1 attitude), Jetfire, and the Twins. But some key characters and fan favorites like Soundwave (without his synchronized voice), Arcee, Sideswipe, Ratchet, Ironhide and Sideswipe, only had a few sentences.
Michael Bay knows how to direct an action film and that's what Revenge of the Fallen is. It's the perfect summer blockbuster action film. Don't go into this movie thinking your going to have the perfect story, the perfect characters, etc. Go into this movie with an open mind, transformer fan or not, and watch the movie you will like enjoy it. Especially disregard anything the critics have said. There IS a story and a plot. It is a little confusing but it is CERTAINLY explained. If you have interest in seeing it..GO. Thanks for reading my official written review everyone.
