According to Michael Bay's own website, Shoot for the Edit, Transformers 3 will be released on July 1st, 2011. It has been previously debated and rumored that the movie would be released in 2012 but this is NOT true. Pre-production has already started according to the site as well. Bay already had a meeting with Hasbro in Rhode Island along with new writer Ehren Kruger to discuss new characters. Bay also had a meeting with ILM in San Francisco in early October. so if there's diffrent writers-i take it, this might be cruder? it seemed a bit out of place in the last movie-still loved the movie-but kinda hoped me kiddos didn't catch on-i grew up watching transformers and my kiddos watch the new now on tv-just wondering-thanx so much for the posts!
